Average, Median and Mode Calculator

Separate numbers with spaces, commas, semicolons or line breaks. Use a dot for decimals (1.5), not a decimal comma. Up to 10,000 numbers; scientific notation is accepted.

How it works

Paste a list of numbers separated by spaces, commas, semicolons or newlines. Decimal points must be dots, even on the Russian page; commas separate values. The tool sorts a copy to find the median and shows all tied modes if values repeat.

Example

For 2, 4, 4, 6, 9, the mean is 5, median is 4 and mode is 4. Count is 5, minimum is 2 and maximum is 9.

Frequently asked questions

What happens when there is more than one mode?

Every value tied for the highest frequency is shown if that frequency is at least two. If all values are unique, the tool reports no repeated values.

Is this a weighted average?

No. Each entered value has equal weight. Invalid tokens are rejected instead of silently removed, so missing or malformed numbers cannot quietly alter the result.
