Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how information is handled when you use the calculators, converters, and utilities at calcrobin.com. You do not need an account to use these tools.

Tool inputs and files

Calculations, text conversions, image processing, and code generation run locally in your browser. The tools do not upload your inputs or selected files to a server or save your results in an account. Inputs and tool history are held in the page's memory while you use it. Reloading or closing the page normally clears this state, although your browser may restore form fields and a share link can restore the values it contains.

Share links

When you create a scenario link, the inputs and settings needed to restore it are included in the URL. This data is encoded, not encrypted: anyone with the link can read it. Creating the link happens locally, but opening it sends the URL, including its scenario data, to the hosting infrastructure. The link may be kept in browser history, hosting logs, or messaging services where you share it. Share only information you intend to disclose. Resetting a tool does not revoke existing copies of a link.

Cookies and local preferences

CalcRobin's application does not set cookies. It uses your browser's local storage to remember the site's light or dark theme, the clock's theme, and a currency preference when you choose one. These settings are not automatically sent with page requests. They remain until you clear site data or your browser removes them. Selecting automatic currency removes the saved currency override; automatic suggestions use your browser's language and time zone locally.

Clipboard and downloads

Copying a result or share link writes it to your system clipboard. Tools with a Paste button read clipboard content when you press that button and your browser allows access. Downloaded results and images are generated in your browser and saved to your device. Those copies are then managed by your browser, operating system, and any clipboard or file-sync services you use.

Website requests and hosting logs

Loading a page or a site asset requires a request to the hosting infrastructure. These requests include technical information such as your IP address, the requested URL, browser information, and a referring page if your browser sends one. Hosting and network providers may keep access or security logs to deliver and protect the site. Log contents and retention depend on their settings and policies. Processing tool inputs locally does not prevent this routine request processing.

Analytics and external links

The site does not currently include analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or tracking pixels in its application. Technical hosting logs are described above. Some tools link to external documentation or reference sites. If you follow those links, the destination site handles your visit under its own privacy policy.

Managing your data

You can remove saved preferences by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Browser history, clipboard contents, and downloaded files must be cleared separately if you want to remove those copies. Clearing site data or resetting a tool does not erase hosting logs, messages you have sent, or copies of shared links and files held by others.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the site's data handling changes. The date at the top shows when this policy was last revised.
