How it works
Enter hours, minutes and seconds, or choose a preset, then select Start. Pause preserves the remaining time; Resume continues from there. Reset returns to your selected duration. Editing a paused timer sets a new duration.
Example
For a 25-minute focus session, choose 25 min and select Start. Pause for a break, then Resume to finish the remaining time.
Frequently asked questions
Does the timer work in a background tab?
The countdown uses an end timestamp and catches up when the page becomes active again. Browsers may suspend background tabs or sleeping devices, so the sound and completion message can arrive late. Keep the page visible and your device awake for timely alerts.
Is my timer saved if I close or reload the page?
No. The timer runs only in this page and is not saved or uploaded. Closing or reloading the page clears it. Sound also depends on browser permissions and device volume.
